About The Position

The Transport Support Worker provides transportation and visitation support for children and families involved in the child welfare system. This role is critical in promoting the well-being of children, participating in staff meetings and trainings, and coordinating with other agencies providing Permanency Services. The ideal candidate is compassionate, eager to learn, and passionate about helping families in times of crisis. This role involves building healthy, long-lasting relationships by connecting families to resources that improve their lives. Strong communication skills, flexibility, punctuality, and a commitment to advocacy for children and their families are essential. Evening availability is required for at least one day a week.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of experience in child and family services
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Flexibility
