About The Position
GXO is currently looking for a proactive and experienced Transport Supervisor to join their NHS Supply Chain contract based in Maidstone. The role involves taking charge of late shift operations, ensuring compliance, cost control, and exceptional service delivery. The position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 14:00 to 22:00, and Friday, 11:00 to 19:00. Requirements
- Legal compliance i.e. understanding of legislative regulations and / or standards
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in transport
- Experience operating with Agency providers and Carriers

Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for keeping your team in line with Audit Compliance relating to the site’s Tacho and Drivers Hours compliance
- Manage cost and service in line with agreed Key Performance Indicators
- Ensure quality standards are maintained in line with OTIF measures
- Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Communicate, apply and enforce company policies
