About The Position
Performs delegated functions as a member of the Patient Transport Department to provide the following services: transport patients to and from testing or treatment areas, STAT requests for specimens and patients, discharge patients to designated areas, transport of outpatients to inpatient and testing areas, and other delivery services utilizing the Transport Tracking System.
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand written instruction
- CPR certificate must be obtained within 6 months of hire and maintained thereafter
- All employee certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) must be granted through the American Heart Association (effective January 2019)
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma preferred
