Transport Service Associate
About The Position
Transports Patients to and from all departments in the hospital. Transports specimens, blood, pharmaceuticals, supplies, equipment, and materials. Transports deceased patients to the morgue. Completes necessary documentation associated with assigned duties. Please note that you must be available to work days, nights, evenings, and weekends. Completes transport activities in a safe and timely manner. Line: IW- 1500-2300, Outside weekend and first Monday and Friday 900-1500. The role requires the ability to lift up to 18 lbs., push or pull up to 25 lbs., and the ability to walk and stand for extended periods. - Minimum Grade 12 education
- Successful completion of the required training program within designated time limits
- Regular and reliable attendance is an expected requirement of this position.
- Must be able to perform all necessary bona fide duties for the position, as outlined in the position guide.
- Must review and be capable of performing duties as outlined in the Job Demands Analysis for the position as a condition of offer.
- Proven ability to attend work regularly as per the Attendance Support Policy.
