Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license and favorable driving record.
CPR and First Aid training.
Pass PA Criminal background check.
Must pass PA Department of Corrections Clean Check.

Responsibilities

Transporting patients to and from referring agencies and scheduled appointments.
Escorting patients as needed and monitoring patient movement into and out of the facility.
Maintaining vehicles, including gas, oil changes, inspections, and general maintenance coordination.
Maintaining daily logs and accurate documentation.
Following facility rules, regulations, and policies.
Assisting with patient intakes and orientation of new patients.
Conducting patient drug screening and random room searches as assigned.
Making telephone contact with employers, families, or friends to verify approved patient movement or furloughs.
Dispensing authorized prescription medications to patients.
Attending mandatory GRC trainings and in-services.
