About The Position

Responsible for safely driving a commercial motor vehicle over established route to deliver dairy products, providing excellent customer service. Maola Local Dairies™ is a farmer-owned cooperative sustainably producing a full suite of nutritious dairy products. Maola processes milk, cream, butter, and dry milk powders through our network of six dairy processing plants. With a keen eye on quality, freshness, and love for the environment, Maola delivers dairy products that are both nutritious and sustainable to our local communities.

Requirements

High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or recognized international equivalent.
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A
Must be at least 21 years old as routes may cross state lines

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.
The employee is frequently required to stand, stoop, and walk.
The employee must be able to reach, bend, extend, climb, pull and lift 50-60 pounds.
Must be able to frequently lift milk case weighing up to 55 pounds and push/pull stacks of milk weighing 250-300 pounds using provided equipment.

Responsibilities

Deliver dairy products safely and on time to customers.
Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer retention.
Must be able to safely operate an electric pallet jack and be certified.
Rotate, and remove out of date, damaged, or unsellable product.
Pick up all empty milk crates and pallets.
Resolve discrepancies and minor customer issues, alerting management when necessary.
Ensure all paperwork is signed and store stamped.
Comply with DOT regulations and company policy including required pre and post trip inspections, completing required paperwork daily.
Maintain assigned truck in a neat and clean condition.
