Requirements

High school diploma or GED
At least 2 years of related experience

Clean driving record
Vision
Ability to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
Ability to walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear
Ability to sit and climb or balance occasionally
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds
Specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating
First Aid/CPR certification
PASS Basic Training
Defensive Driving certification
Wheelchair Training (wheelchair drivers only)
Must not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG's Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA's List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG's List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
Must be 21 years or older
Must be able to pass pre-employment and annual national, state, or county background checks
No crimes of violence, substance abuse, or sexual abuse in the past 7 years
Must be able to pass national pre-employment and annual Sex Offender background checks
Motor vehicle record 3-year history must be free from DUI/DWI, suspensions, and must not have more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents within the past 2 years
Must pass drug and alcohol screening
