Transport Driver - Day and Night Shifts
About The Position
Coleman Oil Company, a family-operated fuel distributor serving the Pacific Northwest for over 70 years and now part of the NorthStar Energy family of companies, is seeking a Transport Driver. Headquartered in Lewiston, Idaho, Coleman Oil operates fuel terminals and distribution facilities specializing in bulk fuel distribution, branded and unbranded ground fuels, cardlock services, lubricants, and retail operations. The company serves a diverse customer base including commercial fleets, agricultural operations, construction companies, government entities, and retail consumers, maintaining its commitment to safety excellence and exceptional customer service. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately handling sales, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and preparing accurate paperwork. You will work to continuously improve products, services, and work processes and strive to meet or exceed expectations.
Requirements
- CDL required
- Must be able to drive in all seasons and types of weather.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and road test
- Dependable and prompt
- Excellent communication skills
- Great customer service abilities
- Works well on own; self-motivated
Nice To Haves
- HazMat preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Accurate loading and delivery of aviation fuel in a timely, safe manner
- Ensure vehicle is clean and well-maintained at all times
- Accurate preparation of invoices, including pricing and tax information
- Preparing and delivering of petroleum package goods
- Perform plant maintenance as requested by the supervisor
- Have knowledge of products and services offered
- Perform other duties, projects, etc., as assigned by supervisor
