About The Position

Blarney Castle Oil Co. is seeking a Transport Driver to safely deliver fuel products to company locations and customers throughout Michigan. This is a full-time, locally dispatched position based out of the Watervliet area, with routes typically within a 100-mile radius, allowing drivers to sleep at home regularly. As a Transport Driver, you will represent Blarney Castle on the road, build customer relationships through dependable service, and ensure safe and reliable deliveries. The company fleet primarily consists of 13-speed manual transmission vehicles.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Air Brake, Tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements
• Minimum of 2 years of heavy haul driving experience
• Experience operating manual transmissions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Dependability and a strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver petroleum products
• Follow all Federal and State DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Complete electronic logs, driver sheets, and required documentation accurately
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of your assigned vehicle
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members
• Take pride in delivering safe, reliable service every day
