About The Position

Wilcox + Flegel is seeking a dedicated and safety-focused Fuel Transport Driver to join their team. Requirements

Must possess Class A CDL
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skill.
Must be highly organized with strong ability to multi-task.
Able to assess competing demands and determine appropriate direction.
Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environment; agile, flexible and resilient qualifications.
Must be able to safely drive & operate a Transport truck & trailer as well as load and unload with petroleum products adhering to all regulations.
Strict adherence to all DOT/Hazmat Regulations is required.
Must be able to climb in and out of Fuel Tank Wagon, operate gear shift and brake & gas pedals.

Nice To Haves

Two years of experience hauling hazardous materials preferred
Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsements and TWIC Preferred

Responsibilities

Make deliveries of bulk fuel products to company-owned sites and customer locations.
Load, transport, and unload products to various customer sites while adhering to all regulations.
Promote safety and communication by seeking input and working to improve processes.
Role model the company's Core Values.
Work in close partnership with the Transport Manager, Dispatch, and fellow Drivers.
Safely drive and operate a Transport truck & trailer as well as load and unload with petroleum products adhering to all regulations.
Complete and transmit all paperwork in compliance with established Wilcox + Flegel procedures.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and replace gaskets, and other related articles as necessary.
Perform safety inspections on trucks, equipment, and/or facilities as required by Wilcox + Flegel Company policy.
Complete miscellaneous service duties such as checking on a daily basis, oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank related items.
Strict adherence to all DOT/Hazmat Regulations is required.
Report any equipment malfunctions, accidents, injuries, and/or concerns in a timely manner to Dispatcher.
Climb in and out of Fuel Tank Wagon, operate gear shift and brake & gas pedals.
