About The Position

The Transport Driver Class A delivers products from distribution centers and bakeries to sales centers. The driver may be required to unload product and reload trailers with empty equipment, and must use powered material-handling equipment safely. The role offers a starting pay of $36.80, home daily, full benefits, holidays and paid time off, and wellness and discount programs. Shift start times vary, and most routes follow a 4/10 work week.

Requirements

• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Have one year of experience driving tractor-trailers, including doubles.
• Have no accidents or points in the last year.
• Hold a clean Class A M.V.R. with no restrictions.
• Pass a DOT Physical and DOT Road Test.
• Successfully obtain a Chauffeur License if the job location is in Indiana, Michigan, or Tennessee.
• Be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
