About The Position

The Truck Driver for Transplant Operations is responsible for safely transporting wide-load transplant/farm equipment to and from various field locations. This position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining compliance with all transportation and company policies. The role involves seasonal travel between Salinas, CA, and Yuma, AZ, and may include evening or night shifts depending on operational needs.

Requirements

• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.

Nice To Haves

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Doubles and Triples endorsement.
• Clean driving record.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible to work in any assigned area.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Availability to work six days per week, including shifts on occasion starting around 5:00 p.m. until completion.
• Ability to travel between Salinas, Yuma, Bard, and other assigned locations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport cauliflower and other plants from nursery to designated field locations.
• Conduct required vehicle inspections and reporting any issues promptly.
• Complete all paperwork related to product transport and equipment use accurately and on time.
• Maintain consistent communication with Transplant Managers, Supervisors, Forepersons, and Transportation Logistics Coordinators.
• Ensure safe, timely, and efficient hauling of materials while following company and DOT regulations.
