About The Position

Temple University Hospital is a nationally respected teaching hospital on Temple University's bustling Health Sciences Center campus. The hospital provides a comprehensive array of healthcare services both basic and complex to patients from around the corner, across the country and around the world. As the chief clinical training site for the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, the hospital provides a dynamic environment for high-quality care, teaching, and cutting edge research. In conjunction with the transplant team, assumes responsibility for coordinating the delivery of care for the transplant patient. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice involved in providing nursing care. Familiarity with organization and function of departments, policies, procedures and regulations. Orchestrates the care of patients with end stage organ disease.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program.
  • 3 years experience in nursing.
  • General Experience and knowledge of Electronic Medical Record.
  • PA Registered Nurse License
  • Cert Clinical Transplant Coord
  • Multi State Compact RN License

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program.
  • General Experience in a Transplant program.
  • General Experience in critical care
  • CCTC - Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator required within 2 years of hire as a Transplant Nurse Coordinator.
