About The Position
This exciting opportunity to join our Mayo Clinic Hospital Pharmacy Team is for a Transplant Hospital Pharmacist Specialist. This pharmacist will practice as a decentralized Pharmacist in the patient care areas in our hospital tower, as well as a clinical expert to support Transplant Practice at Mayo Clinic in Florida and drive the practice forward.
Requirements
- Practice as a decentralized Pharmacist in patient care areas.
- Serve as a clinical expert to support Transplant Practice.
- Provide expert level of guidance on medication use in the specialty area of practice.
- Serve as preceptor for Pharmacy Education program(s).
- Lead quality improvement projects in the specialty area of practice.
Responsibilities
- Effectively performs the activities and duties of the Pharmacist positions with responsibilities including distribution, consultation, education, research and supervisory functions.
- Provides an expert level of guidance on medication use in the specialty area of practice.
- Serves as preceptor for Pharmacy Education program(s).
- Leads quality improvement projects in the specialty area of practice.
