As a Financial Counseling Representative, you will be a trusted guide for patients navigating insurance coverage, financial responsibility, and payment solutions. For this US-based position, the base pay range is $20.94 - $28.87 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service experience, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates genuine compassion, empathy, and patience when supporting the patients, clients and team members
  • Ability to explain financial and insurance concepts clearly
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly with HIGH attention to detail
  • Professionalism with sensitive financial conversations
  • High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional financial counseling support by helping patients understand insurance benefits and out-of-pocket costs
  • Meet with patients to discuss payment options and financial assistance programs
  • Verify insurance eligibility and explain benefits clearly
  • Assist with Medicaid and financial assistance applications
  • Build trust with patients during stressful financial situations
  • Collaborate with care teams and revenue cycle departments
  • Maintain accurate documentation across multiple systems
