About The Position

The Center for Kidney Disease and Transplantation at NewYork-Presbyterian is a leading kidney transplant program known for its high volume and excellent patient and graft survival rates. The program performs over 60 transplants annually, often on medically complex patients. Transplant Coordinators at this center collaborate with world-class clinicians to ensure patient success and foster professional development, operating under the principle of 'Putting Patients First'. As a transplant coordinator, you will manage patient care from referral through post-transplant surgery, educate patients and their support systems about transplantation, provide clinical management, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, regulatory-compliant services. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM, located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center, with an on-call requirement for transplant coordination.

Requirements

  • At least three years of acute care experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing OR Physician Assistant studies.
  • Current New York State RN OR PA license.
  • BCLS certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Transplant experience.
  • Experience in ICU or PACU.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, autonomous.

Responsibilities
