About The Position
This position is for a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with 3+ years of strong Transplant OR skills looking for a change. The role involves preparing surgical supplies and equipment, assisting in patient preparation for Organ Transplant procedures, working closely with the surgical team, maintaining counts, handling specimens, and applying post-procedure dressings. Requirements
- Active CST license in the state of Indiana
- Current BLS certification
- 3+ years of recent surgical tech experience with organ transplant- liver transplant skills are required.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in basic vital signs and medication administration

- Experience in an eye surgery center
Responsibilities
- Prepare surgical supplies and equipment for scheduled and emergency procedures
- Assist in prepping patients, including cleansing and draping surgical sites for Organ Transplant
- Work closely with surgeons and the surgical team during procedures
- Maintain accurate instrument and sharps counts
- Handle surgical specimens for lab processing
- Apply post-procedure dressings and/or casts as needed
