This role involves inspecting overhead power lines for proper vegetation clearance, identifying hazardous trees, and auditing tree contractor work. The Transmission Utility Arborist will also be responsible for documenting information for clients' vegetation management programs, communicating with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, landowners, and the public, and performing duties in a manner that promotes good public relations. The position requires research into easement and land rights, meeting with landowners, marking work in the field, responding to public concerns, assisting in the development of public relations materials, and responding to contractor questions. Additionally, the role involves assisting in contractor management during storm restoration operations and supporting special projects as assigned.
