About The Position
The Senior Planning Engineer leads Con Edison's Transmission Planning initiatives to support New York State's clean energy goals. This role involves developing and overseeing bulk electric system studies, recommending transmission upgrades, and providing technical expertise to ensure system reliability. The engineer will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including NYISO, to integrate renewable resources and innovative technologies into the transmission network. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan.
