About The Position

Growing full service firm looking to add a talented Transmission Line QA/QC Engineer to their Indianapolis office! This role involves overseeing design reviews and validation procedures, ensuring the accuracy and safety of high voltage transmission line designs using PLS-CADD. The engineer will establish quality standards aligned with industry best practices, develop and implement quality control procedures, and mentor junior staff. A key aspect of this role is championing QA/QC processes to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality engineering outputs and communicating with project managers to align quality goals with schedule and budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering or engineering technology
• 5+ years of transmission engineering experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Proficient in PLS CADD
• Expert in the analysis of transmission structures
• Ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards and regulations
• Ability to optimize complex systems and workflows
• Ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences and drive cross-functional collaboration
• Valid Driver’s License is required
• Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship

Responsibilities
