About The Position

This position involves operating basic hand tools and performing detailed cleaning of parts using solvents, brushes, and scrapers. The associate will verify the tag of the Bill of Materials (BOM) matches the unit provided. The disassembly process includes removing external components like bolts and seals, followed by the removal of the oil pan to access internal parts. Key internal components such as the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, and clutch packs will be removed. Finally, parts will be cleaned using solvent, placed in baskets, and sent through a washer.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (approximately 8-10 hours).
  • Ability to use handheld tools such as Impacts, Pneumatic Drills, Hammers etc.
  • Standing: Continuously
  • Walking: Occasionally
  • Sitting: Never
  • Stooping (forward leaning): Occasionally.
  • Reaching/Working Overhead: Occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Verify the tag of the BOM matches the unit (core) provided.
  • Remove bolts, seals, and other external components from the unit.
  • Remove the oil pan to access internal parts.
  • Remove internal components such as the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, and clutch packs.
  • Clean parts using solvent.
  • Place cleaned parts in baskets for washing.
