About The Position

Cando Rail & Terminals is North America’s leading provider of specialized rail operating services and terminal infrastructure that allow industrial shippers to optimize their supply chains and connect to Class I railways by leveraging Cando’s operating capabilities and network of owned multi-purpose rail terminals. Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License required
• Mechanical aptitude and strong teamwork skills
• Experience with skid-steers.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work, including climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working at heights
• Must meet customer and regulatory safety requirements, including background screening

Nice To Haves

• CDL is a NICE to have.
• Transloading experience is a plus.
• Industrial or hazardous materials experience considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload railcars and transfer products
• Operate transloading equipment, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and mobile equipment
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and minor equipment repairs
• Complete operational logs and safety documentation
• Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety procedures
• Report safety concerns and equipment issues promptly
• Support switching crews and other site operations as required
