About The Position

Railcar Loaders / Transload Operators safely load and unload railcars while ensuring compliance with operational, environmental, and safety standards. The role involves operating transloading equipment; handling hazardous and non-hazardous materials; performing inspections; completing documentation; and supporting rail operations as needed. This is a safety-sensitive position and may require overtime, weekends, holidays, and occasional travel based on operational needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working at heights.
• Must meet customer and regulatory safety requirements, including background screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload railcars and transfer products.
• Operate transloading equipment, pumps, compressors, conveyors, and mobile equipment.
• Perform inspections, troubleshoot equipment, and carry out minor repairs.
• Complete operational logs and safety documentation.
• Follow company, customer, and regulatory safety procedures.
• Report safety concerns and equipment issues promptly.
• Support switching crews and other site operations as required.
