About The Position
Translates verbal or written communications from English to Spanish or from Spanish language to English. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year and offers higher pay due to community-approved override funding through June 2031.
Requirements
- Three years experience in an Interpreter/Translator capacity.
- Must be able to demonstrate expertise and competency in interpreting and translating.
- Verbal & written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
- Must pass the Bilingual Proficiency exam on or before the posting deadline.
- Must pass an FBI fingerprint background check prior to start date.
- Provide proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization prior to start date.
- Possess a valid Driver's license (Arizona Driver’s License required within 30 days of hire).
- Provide an MVReport showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License.
- Have a reliable mode of personal transportation with evidence of insurance compliance greater than or equal to the state required minimum.
