About The Position

The Transitions Fittings Assembler III plays a key role in the assembly, inspection, packaging, and movement of transition fittings and related components. This position requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing stock to ensure inventory accuracy. A successful warehouse associate in this role is hard-working, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance assembly responsibilities with warehouse support needs.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly experience.
  • Certified or willing to be trained on powered industrial equipment.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Ability to use excel
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Receive pipe and fitting trucks and verify accuracy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify management of shortages.
  • Check in fittings and apply labels when required.
  • Fulfill customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Use company equipment to shuttle freight
  • Cut, Clean, assemble, and build pipe
  • Follow all Safety Rules
  • Organize and maintain a clean safe working environment
  • Contribute ideas on ways to improve Transitions Processes and Procedures
  • Carry out tasks assigned by the Warehouse Manager
  • Assemble small parts and components using a hydraulic press, hand tools, fixtures, or machinery.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, drawings, or assembly instructions.
  • Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
  • Perform troubleshooting and rework defective parts when needed.
  • Package and label finished goods for shipment or further processing.
  • Accurately record production data, counts, and quality issues.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve assembly and warehouse efficiency.
