About The Position

Rite of Passage is hiring a Transitional Services Manager at Les Peters Youth Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida. Les Peters Academy is a moderate-risk residential commitment program serving female youth ages 14 to 19. The program provides comprehensive care, treatment, supervision, evidence-based intensive mental health services, and individual, family, and group counseling.

The manager supervises a caseload of approximately 13 students and serves as the primary program liaison among students, their parents or legal guardians, and placing agency officials. The role supports students’ progress and coordinates services and activities with program staff. This position reports to the Director of Student Services.

The role is scheduled five days per week, including a weekend day; the current schedule is Monday through Friday. Compensation is $46,400 annually.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, social work, or sociology.
• Experience in case management.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a caseload of approximately 13 students.
• Assist with facilitating court hearings, probation officer visits, student visits, and/or home passes.
• Meet with students to review their progress.
• Serve as the primary program liaison between students, parents or legal guardians, and placing agency officials.
• Provide monthly progress notes and weekly student updates.
• Coordinate activities with other program staff.
• Participate in assessments and treatment plans.
