About The Position
Make a difference in the lives of youth 16-21! Family Youth Interventions-Transitional Living Program (FYITLP) is hiring Transitional Living Specialists to support young adults in a structured residential program. Join FYITLP and help young adults gain the skills and confidence to live independently. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass Criminal and Central Registry (child abuse/neglect) background checks
- Negative TB (Tuberculosis) test
- Three professional references
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Mental Health, or a related field
- Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Mentor and guide young adults in daily living skills, self-care, and planning
- Support residents with schedules, transportation, and personal growth
- Help implement the TLP curriculum and guidelines
- Ensure safety and compliance with all health and fire regulations
- Facilitate life skills and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with community agencies to connect youth to resources

- Time and half for holidays
- Shift differential for weekends and midnight shifts
