Under the general administrative direction of the Director of Intake, the Transitions Support Program Manager is responsible for the scheduling, safety, cleanliness maintenance, coordination, support, and oversight of OCOK Child Watch programs. The Program Manager ensures that the Child Watch program effectively meets the supervision needs of each client, that staff are appropriately supervised and supported in delivering services, and that the goals regarding conduct and performance are achieved and established personnel policies are implemented. The Program Manager is sensitive to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and performs any other duties as directed by the Director of Intake Working Conditions: The position requires exposure to confidential information and must maintain confidentiality and follow policies related to personnel, clients, and personnel and client records. Extended walking and standing daily. Must always be physically able to use authorized crisis intervention techniques. Working conditions include exposure to children and youth placed in a 24-hour residential environment on a daily basis. This could include clients with behavioral problems, including possible physical aggression. Will also be exposed to the typical hazards of the residential environment related to household activities, cleaning agents, and food preparation. Exposure to illness and blood exists. Residential programs do not close for holidays or inclement weather. They operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year.
