About The Position

Transition Services provides program support to Financial Advisors on new client and account set-up procedures, account change requests, and backend administrative support. The team partners closely with Advisors, Custodians, and internal departments to help facilitate smooth business transitions into the Managed Money program. The Transition Services Intern will support the team in executing advisor business transitions by assisting with documentation preparation, tracking activities, and providing administrative and operational support. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to financial services operations and advisor transition processes. We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our Phoenix, AZ office.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered.
  • We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in financial services, investment operations, or wealth management
  • Prior internship or customer service experience
  • Familiarity with investment products or financial terminology (coursework acceptable)

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing account establishment documentation for new advisor transitions
  • Help with special projects and ad hoc initiatives to support team priorities, process improvements, and ongoing operational needs.
  • Track the submission and status of new account documentation
  • Monitor account funding progress and follow up on outstanding items
  • Provide general administrative support to the Transition Services team
  • Assist in resolving routine issues
  • Partner with internal departments and custodians to help ensure smooth processing of account transitions
  • Support ongoing process improvement initiatives and documentation updates
