About The Position
Under general supervision, conducts pre-admission, admission, and readmission assessment reviews for appropriate patient population; coordinates all systems and services required for an organized, interdisciplinary team approach to healthcare; assures quality, cost-effective care and efficient utilization of resources and health services across the healthcare continuum. Patients served include neonate through adult-geriatric.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland.
- Five years clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Previous utilization management experience.
