The Central Oklahoma Transportation and Parking Authority (COTPA) is seeking a Transit Talent Coordinator. This role is responsible for training and retraining Bus and Streetcar Operators to meet performance standards, delivering training for new operator trainees to achieve commercial licensing and certification, and providing post-accident training. The coordinator will also support CDL licensing processes, assist in implementing System Safety Plans, and act as backup for accident review and safety committees. Additionally, the position involves designing and developing training curricula for various staff, facilitating in-person, virtual, and eLearning sessions, and coordinating required annual employee training. The role also includes evaluating training effectiveness, establishing standards, maintaining accurate training records, and generating reports. Ensuring training programs comply with DOT, CDL, and EMBARK safety policies is crucial. The coordinator will serve as a backup LMS administrator, manage content, scheduling, enrollments, and reporting, and coordinate system enhancements. Collaboration with city departments, external agencies, vendors, and customers for training initiatives and employee development is expected. The role also involves researching best practices to update or create training modules to meet evolving operational needs.
