About The Position

As a Transit Hub Lead for TransWest, you will be expected to provide the highest level of customer service and authentically connect with our clients to introduce them to and assist in navigating our transportation network. Transit Hub Leads create a welcoming and safe environment by greeting clients, communicating relevant transportation information, answering client inquires, and interacting with our driver team members to ensure the highest level of care while utilizing our services. This role is open to current TransWest Team Members Only.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Proven ability to lead peers and coordinate shift activities
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
  • Must be able to walk and stand for entirety of shift
  • Enjoy people and excel at customer service
  • Able to communicate proficiently in English

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the transportation industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest level of customer service and authentically connect with clients to introduce them to and assist in navigating the transportation network.
  • Create a welcoming and safe environment by greeting clients, communicating relevant transportation information, and answering client inquiries.
  • Interact with driver team members to ensure the highest level of care while utilizing services.
  • Possess an outgoing and positive attitude and demeanor; genuinely enjoy and take pride in providing excellent customer service every day.
  • Work cross-functionally with other TransWest team members to identify potential issues in the field and propose meaningful solutions.
  • Demonstrate and provide instructions to clients on ridership applications and other technology offerings.
  • Represent TransWest in a positive way by having a professional appearance, being approachable, and having passion for providing world-class customer service as clients arrive/depart their work locations.
  • Interact with customers in a positive manner.
  • Track relevant client ridership data and vehicle arrival and departure data.
  • Be knowledgeable about the transportation brand and the services provided to clients.
  • Operate TransWest technology to provide schedule information to clients.
  • Provide relevant customer feedback to TransWest leadership and embrace a culture of process improvement.
  • Be a team player who possesses the ability to work effectively with customers, co-workers, and management.
  • Directly lead and support the work of Frontline Team Members, ensuring effective task execution, adherence to standards, and a positive team environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
