Transit Driver
About The Position
Lincoln County Transit is geared to enabling the public with inexpensive and convenient transportation in Lincoln County. We provide transportation to every major city within the county, including transportation for disabled persons and senior citizens. Transit operates 20 buses and provides approximately 280,000 rides per year. Last year, its buses traveled more than 520,000 miles. To continue to serve our public, we are looking for dedicated drivers to fulfill our community's locally desired service Monday-Friday. We are looking for a Transit Driver who is a customer service-minded individual and who can operate an 8 to 35 passenger bus in a manner that provides safe, courteous, reliable, and efficient passenger transportation. Requirements
- High school diploma / GED
- One year transit or similar driving experience with multiple passengers.
- Must possess a valid Oregon class A or B commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement.
- Must have a current DOT medical examiner's certificate.
- Ability to pass a drug screening.

Responsibilities

- Report to the start of the route location or where the bus is stationed.
