Requirements

  • A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a Passenger (P) Endorsement is strictly required.
  • 2+ years of professional driving experience.
  • High familiarity with Chantilly and the surrounding Northern Virginia/DC Metro road networks.
  • A clean driving record with no major moving violations or at-fault accidents within the last 3 years.
  • Ability to successfully pass a standard DOT physical and mandatory pre-employment drug/alcohol screenings.
  • A patient, calm, and welcoming demeanor when working with individuals who may be elderly, stressed, or experiencing pain.
  • Punctuality.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in healthcare transport, shuttle services, or paratransit is a major plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate company fleet vehicles (primarily buses) with an unshakeable "safety-first" mindset, executing both fixed schedules and on-demand routes.
  • Offer dedicated "door-to-door" care by assisting passengers with mobility challenges, ensuring wheelchairs and assistive devices are secured with absolute precision.
  • Conduct rigorous pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, acting as the first line of defense in identifying maintenance needs and keeping our fleet in top-tier condition.
  • Log accurate digital or manual records for trip mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts.
  • Represent Omega Health Services on the road by practicing defensive, courteous driving and delivering exceptional customer service.
