About The Position

Become a Transit Driver & City Ambassador for Lake Havasu! This is a part-time position where you will be the heart of the demand-response public transportation system, transporting passengers safely while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of Lake Havasu. If you love people, enjoy being on the move, and have a can-do attitude, this is the perfect opportunity to combine your driving skills with your excellent customer service. Your mission is to be the master of the roads, navigating the city to get passengers where they need to go, on time and with a smile. You will also be tech-savvy, using the on-board terminal and app to manage routes, track passengers, and confirm cashless payments. You will serve as a lifeline for those who need it most, including seniors and individuals certified under the ADA, ensuring they have a safe and comfortable ride. Additionally, you will keep the fleet in tip-top shape by performing daily inspections and keeping your vehicle sparkling clean, inside and out. Public transit provides service to the entire community.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Some experience in customer service
Valid driver’s license (no bus endorsements needed)
Some experience with driving a cut-away bus or large vehicle
Ability to learn city streets quickly
Ability to stay calm, professional, and positive
Must meet and maintain all in-house required training courses
