About The Position

Ventum Financial is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Transfer Associate to join our Operations team in Vancouver. Reporting to the Team Lead, this role is primarily responsible for processing incoming and outgoing account transfers along with other operational tasks. The ideal candidate must work well in a team environment, be eager to learn, highly organized, and committed to accuracy. Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in transfers, operations, or a similar financial services role.
  • Strong organization and with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and drive performance improvements using metrics and insights.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Exercise tact and discretion in the handling of confidential information.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Fundserv, ATON, and OTC money/security movement a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Submit, monitor, and process "Transfer In" and "Transfer Out" requests manually, via Automated Transfer Online Notification (ATON) and Fundserv.
  • Verify incoming/outgoing client account transfer information and forms are complete and accurate.
  • Maintain operational adherence to regulatory time frames, and immediate resolution of processing impediments.
  • Index and digitize completed transfer records into the firm's document management system for compliance auditing.
  • Respond to status update requests from firms, Investment Advisors, Sales Assistants, and client service teams.
  • Organize, communicate and co-ordinate deliveries of physical securities.
  • Investigate escalations and assist with special projects as required.
