About The Position

Oversee the loading, unloading and transport of inventory among Cozzini’s many facilities according to the required schedule. This role requires flexibility to support varying start times, ranging from early morning to afternoon, while managing multi-route operations. Overtime may be required based on operational and production needs.

Requirements

• A valid Class B driver’s license is required.
• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating a 26 ft. box truck.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record
• DOT experience/ knowledge
• Pass a pre-employment test
• Meet pre-employment and periodic MVR requirements as outlined in Cozzini's Fleet Safety Program.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. repetitively, reach, twist, turn, bend, climb, and pull.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate vehicle in accordance with all government laws and regulations.
• Maintain the safe, efficient transfer of inventory to and from Cozzini distribution centers on a regularly scheduled basis.
• Communicate with receiving facilities in the event of schedule deviations.
• Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Oversee the mechanical well-being and cleanliness of Cozzini assigned vehicles.
• Maintain Cozzini provided equipment in good working order.
• Adhere to the various policies outlined in Cozzini’s Employee Handbook and Fleet Safety Program.
• Other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
