This is a 2nd shift Non-CDL Transfer Driver position located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is a full-time role with a regular license requirement, operating a box truck/straight truck. The schedule is Monday-Friday with a 2:00 pm start time. The hourly pay ranges from $21.00/hr to $26.00/hr, with an additional $1.50/hr for the 2nd shift differential. This role involves local deliveries, allowing drivers to return home each night.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Be at least 21 years old
- Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
- Ability to lift packages that could weigh up to 85 pounds
- Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
- Basic English communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
- 1 year of related experience and/or training

Responsibilities
- Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route
- Transport and deliver products with care
- Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries
- Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers
- Assist throughout the Warehouse where needed when the transfer route is complete
