About The Position

The Transfer Driver is responsible for transferring product from the Loveland warehouse to the Denver cross dock, completing 3 to 4 loads per day. This role involves performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the company vehicle, operating the vehicle safely and courteously, obeying traffic regulations, and handling sales tickets, payments, and related paperwork. The driver is also responsible for completing the daily Check In/Out process and DOT pre-trips and post-trips. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid Class A CDL and DOT medical card required.
Clear motor vehicle record for the past three (3) years required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have excellent customer service skills.
Requires a strong attention to detail.
Must be able to meet company MVR standard.
Excellent communication skills with customers and co-workers.
Must demonstrate an ability to operate company vehicles and equipment safely and effectively.
Able to quickly learn product and account characteristics.
Must be able to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative.
Must be able to think critically, adapt to change and utilize available resources to solve problems.

Nice To Haves

Previous driving and/or delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Transfer product from the Loveland warehouse to the Denver cross dock.
Complete 3 to 4 loads per day.

Operate company vehicle safely, courteously, and obey all traffic regulations.
Responsible for completion of all sales tickets, obtaining payment for product at all accounts, POD's collected and all related paperwork.
Completion of daily Check In/Out process, DOT pre-trips and post-trips.
Other duties as assigned.
