Transfer Center Bed Flow Coordinator
About The Position
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a RN Transfer Center Bed Flow Coordinator. This position is full time, 36 hours per week, night shift. The Bed Flow Coordinator assesses, plans, develops, implements, and evaluates plans of care for specific patient populations. This role coordinates and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate appropriate and timely patient placement and/or transfer. The coordinator also communicates the capacity management plan to nursing units, the leadership team, and physicians. Possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards of care as required by patient populations.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse
- 2 Years Recent Acute Care Experience
- Ability to multitask, type with reasonable speed and take accurate notes.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in ICU, ED or Transfer Center
