About The Position

As a key member of the Transfer Center Team, you will coordinate interfacility transfers by gathering initial transfer request details from referring facilities and following established protocols with the Transfer Center RN to coordinate transfers. You will provide secretarial support by entering and managing data in systems (e.g., Central Logic, Midas), running reports, and maintaining logs. Additionally, you will monitor department equipment function and send required documentation to referral hospitals. You will support safety and quality by updating and communicating weather and traffic alerts, tracking transport vehicles to ensure safety throughout transfers, and maintaining emergency preparedness documentation. You will follow safety/quality plans and assigned duties.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• 2 years previous healthcare experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology
