Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Undergraduate Recruitment, the Transfer Admissions Counselor will support the recruitment and matriculation of transfer students. This position assists and advises prospective and admitted transfer students, monitors the enrollment experience of these students, and promotes the mission of Mines through the development and implementation of recruitment, admission, and enrollment programs to meet transfer student enrollment goals. This position will be the lead contact for both prospective and admitted transfer students, including Mines Academy students. The Transfer Admissions Counselor serves as the primary point of contact for questions related to transferable and applicable credit until the student is officially registered for courses at Mines. In addition, this position will serve as the admissions lead for Mines Academy partnerships, helping advise students towards a seamless admission and enrollment path to Mines. The Transfer Admissions Counselor will collect, review, and analyze transfer admissions data in a timely fashion and provide routine reporting of transfer enrollment trends to ensure that strategic transfer enrollment goals are met. This position will serve as a member of the Admissions team and will be involved in the recruitment, admissions, identification, and continuing enrollment of future transfer students. This is a full-time, 12-month, administrative faculty professional exempt position.
