About The Position

The position provides an opportunity for engineering students to get hands on experience working with engineers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Transducer Engineering Intern will assist senior engineers with test procedure development, data analysis, and CAD modeling. This is a temporary full-time position with the potential to transition to a part-time position during the school year.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or Software Engineering)
  • U.S. Citizenship is required as the ability to obtain a security clearance is required for this position. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Update Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs) for all active Sonatech projects.
  • Conduct data reviews to help define the specifications for the ATPs.
  • Conduct data reviews of in-process tests and produce analysis summaries.
  • Contribute to updates and maintenance of assembly tools and fixtures by completing full CAD models and prep for mechanical engineering.
