Transcon Warehouse Supervisor supports the Transcon Manager in leading the department to achieving flawless operational execution, developing a strong and reliable team infrastructure, technical expertise, knowledgeable and promotable personnel while constantly driving efficiency, profitability and growth supporting our Vision and Mission statement, making our promise real to all our employees and customers.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience leading teams in the logistic field or domestic transportation.
Customer Satisfaction oriented.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels written and oral communication and presentations.
Ability to relate and influence employees at all levels.
Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
Problem solving skills.
Project management skills, and ability to multitask.
Ability to complete drive the team to work within standard procedures, guidelines and office policies.
Self-driven personality and good business sense are expected.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
English and Spanish fluency.
Analytical and operational experience.
Warehouse and transportation experience.

Responsibilities

Support the Department Manager in proactively monitoring key metrics to achieve expected results.
Ensure all team members complete mandatory training timely.
Perform Product OPA Audit consistently at the highest level.
Ensure Accurate RDL Entry – Aligned PUO/FRD & RDL with the service level.
Ensure Timely XMT Entry – Post IC, creating XMT event before BKD occurs.
Ensure Timely INV Entry – Post Invoice within 24 hours after POD.
Ensure Timely DLV Entry – DLV within 2 hours of delivery time.
Ensure Timely POD Entry – POD within 12 hours of delivery time.
Ensure On-Time Delivery – DLV no later than 2 hours after the APT event time.
Ensure SPM Approve SP – 100%.
Ensure PU&D Connectivity – 100%.
Ensure Connectivity Response – 100%.
Ensure Finance Expense Control – Remain at or under budget.

Support the department being properly staffed, structured and organized and interview regularly.
Ensure all needs and tools required are available for the Department to be successful in all areas.
Engage with team members daily, conduct check-in meetings regularly assisting them with ongoing feedback, coaching and mentoring.
Be visionary as it relates to supervising staff, processes and tools to be able to handle volume spikes, growth locally or supporting other branches.
Help build healthy cross-functional relationship and work environment, promote team spirit and cohesiveness in the department.
Ensure that company controls, policies, procedures, processes are understood and complied with.
Conduct daily huddle meetings and Supervisor meetings weekly.
Support all Employee Satisfaction initiatives.
Support and execute department TBP, goals and expectations and monitor the progress.
Allocate workloads within the department.
Effectively manage and monitor service execution within the Transcon department, leading and assisting in the pursuit of efficiency and operational excellence.
Support oversight, including self-assessments and daily, weekly and monthly performance monitoring so that issues (root cause) are resolved proactively.
Help review all exceptions to drive efficiency internally (controlled) and through interacting with our customers (uncontrolled).
Help identify areas to improve efficiency to offer customers better cycle times, service while improving margins.
Actively participate in the optimization of systems and tools and continuously improve the efficiency, productivity and quality of the service.
Set the tone of this environment within your department.
Make certain that client specific instructions are understood at the desk level to properly process shipments and invoices.
Maintain SOPs updated for all customers.
Ensure proper use of all Expeditor systems and tools.
Make certain that files are logged correctly and timely with proper codes, trace types and events.
Ensure that all correspondence within business unit is handled timely and professionally.
Maintain highest compliance levels for all applicable Transcon requirements.
Escalate issues to Transcon Manager timely when needed.
Comply with all our policies, including the credit policy.
Inform immediately the Branch’s Health and Safety representative any unsafe condition that could put employees at risk in the workplace as well as any incident or accident.
