About The Position

A career in our Financial Due Diligence practice, within Deals Transaction Services, will provide you the opportunity to help organisations realise the potential of mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and capital markets. Through data driven insights we help our clients move in the right direction ensuring maximum value for their company. Our team assist organisations with both buy side and sell side due diligence. As part of our team, you’ll help us provide both corporate and financial buyers with peace of mind by analysing and validating all the financial, commercial, operational and strategic assumptions being made. Your role will include, but isn’t limited to: Participate in meetings with top-level management in a wide range of businesses/ industries to obtain critical information for due diligence Develop a comprehensive understanding of targeted companies (e.g., industry, key business drivers) Undertake in depth financial analysis of client and target financial data to identify deal issues and business value drivers Prepare key transaction analyses such as Quality of Earnings, normalized net working capital and analysis of debt and debt-like items. Data analytics tools will be utilized to drive efficiencies in data processing and analysis, and to present data effectively Our principal focuses as regards this position are in the areas of: Buy Side Due Diligence; and Vendor assistance/due diligence and carve-outs What can you expect working in our Transaction Services group? Requirements

  • Solid audit experience at a Senior Associate level
  • A Chartered Accountant Designation (or local equivalent) preferred
  • Proven technical and analytical capabilities including proven financial and business performance analysis skills
  • Strong communication, presentation and report writing skills
  • Proven engagement team management and leadership skills

Responsibilities
