Transaction Reporting Analyst - MiFID

About The Position

We are currently looking for an MiFID Transaction Reporting Analyst. You will produce and oversee the MiFID Transaction Reporting (RTS22) submissions, as well as supporting the team with other regulatory submissions (MiFID Trade reporting, EMIR, SFTR, etc) and any new transaction based regulatory reporting as and when required in the future.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of MiFID Transaction reporting obligations, relevant instruments, reporting technical standards and associated industry guidance
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrable expertise in data analysis techniques, problem solving, root-cause analysis and clear communication of conclusions to senior management.
  • Experience of working within a regulatory driven agenda and assessing regulatory impacts to the business and Operations
  • Operating across businesses and functions, such as Compliance, Legal, Technology and the Business with demonstrable negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills
  • Communication skills and effective stakeholder management

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in regulatory assurance / QA activities is an advantage.
  • Prior experience of MiFID reporting solutions is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the daily production, delivery and oversight of RLAM’s MiFID Transaction Reporting BAU submissions
  • Undertake the associated BAU assurance activities in collaboration with compliance and RLAM’s assurance partner.
  • Carry out remediation work as required where issues are identified across processes and reporting.
  • Review the existing reporting processes and control framework to identify enhancements and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and deliver necessary reporting process change to maintain compliance with an evolving regulatory reporting and business change environment.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as well as regulatory inspections in relation to the firm’s reporting obligations.
  • Completing daily & monthly reconciliations involving multiple sets of data to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Production of periodic MI for presentation on various board/committees as well as stats packs for external clients
  • Liaising with both external clients and internal departments for fast and accurate resolution of queries/exceptions.
