About The Position

JLL is seeking a Transaction Manager to join their Brokerage team in San Francisco. This role focuses on managing lease transactions, building client relationships, and supporting business growth within a fast-paced, collaborative, and inclusive environment. The Transaction Manager will work with various JLL professionals and support multi-market brokerage activities through special projects to aid client decision-making.

Requirements

  • 3+ years commercial real estate transaction or leasing experience
  • Real estate brokerage or salesperson’s license
  • Understanding of & commitment to client services with superior negotiation, leasing & interpersonal skills including verbal & written communication
  • Ability to build relationships & interact effectively with business partners & clients
  • Project management capabilities, including multi-tasking, prioritization, deadline management, & the ability to work both independently & with a team
  • Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, assignments & to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate or related is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage lease transactions and foster client relationships.
  • Support business growth and assist with special projects.
  • Work with professionals across IPS, Lease Administration, and Brokerage.
  • Execute job functions with a high level of quality and accuracy.
  • Assume key transaction responsibilities and provide market advice.
  • Improve client transaction management processes by handling high volume of transactions, reporting updates, and attending client meetings.
  • Review lease documents, write lease summaries & abstracts for due diligence.
  • Gather & evaluate real estate market & property data by researching market, companies, landlords, & potential subtenants.
  • Direct special projects & assignments.
  • Prepare commission invoices and track transactions in proprietary software.
  • Prepare offering materials for new or existing assignments and pursuits.
  • Update Excel-based analytical tools and financial models with Financial Analyst.
  • Assist with preparation of client deliverables and presentations.
  • Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data for client deliverables and valuation models.
  • Read and review real estate documents (leases, environmental/engineering reports, appraisals) and prepare abstract reports.
  • Organize historical client contact/activity.
  • Assist lead brokers with transaction tracking, management, and reporting.
  • Review and analyze client’s quantitative portfolio data, legal documents, and other material for project due diligence.
  • Serve as a technology champion for JLL market level software programs used in brokerage.
  • Understand and run technology products (e.g., Blackbird) during pitches.
  • Partner with JLL peers nationwide to utilize company-wide best practices.
  • Assist with the preparation of pitch materials for new business pursuits with JLL IPS & Sales Enablement teams.
