Performs routine to moderately complex supervisory duties related to assisting with the management and oversight of the day-to-day activities of the training supervisors. Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing a wide range of training activities for all department personnel. Ensures that training staff responds to users requests for needed training. Consults and collaborates with department personnel regarding available performance improvement services and conducts orientation sessions and on the job training for employees. Works with Assistant Manager in overseeing daily issues affecting training supervisors such as attendance issues, update on project and other training related issues. Develops and conducts training classes for other Departments as required.
