About The Position

This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position in the regular career civil service. The incumbent evaluates and manages the training and education program for an Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) Group and its subordinate units to support combat readiness. ART duties are the incumbent’s regular assignments, although non-ART duties may be assigned and generally will not exceed 30 percent of total responsibilities. The work schedule will be aligned to allow full participation in unit training assemblies (UTA). The incumbent may need to fly in military or commercial aircraft for temporary duty assignments (TDY) and performs other related duties as assigned. Upon that employee’s return, the selected incumbent may be displaced from the position; efforts will be made to find an equivalent position at the same grade within the commuting area, without loss of seniority, status, or tenure.
