About The Position

LOC Credit Union is seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Training & Talent Specialist to join their Human Resources & Training team. This role will support the Credit Union's recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee development initiatives. The specialist will coordinate learning programs, facilitate training sessions, assist with talent acquisition, and ensure employees have the necessary tools and resources. Working with the Director of HR & Training and organizational leaders, the role involves delivering onboarding experiences, maintaining learning resources, administering the Learning Management System (LMS), and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. The ideal candidate is an organized, engaging communicator who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about employee development and internal service.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Experience in training, onboarding, recruiting, Human Resources, or talent development.
Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
A passion for coaching, learning, and helping others succeed.
The ability to manage multiple priorities while providing exceptional service.

Nice To Haves

Financial institution or credit union experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and employee training programs.
Support recruiting efforts by assisting with the hiring and onboarding process.
Develop and update training materials, job aids, and learning resources.
Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and on-the-job training.
Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) and maintain accurate training records.
Monitor required training completion and assist with compliance reporting.
Partner with leaders to identify training needs and support employee development initiatives.
Help coordinate employee learning events and organizational training programs.
